Edge Desk applications are for knowledgeable traders who already have a foundational understanding of financial markets, derivatives, risk, and their own process. Our tools are decision-support software — ranked setups, context, and review — not beginner training or a substitute for market literacy.

Not today. We have considered native apps for both iOS and Android, but our current focus is quality, accuracy, and usability for a desktop-trader experience we aim to make unparalleled. Edge Desk runs in the browser, and we work to keep the site and desk mobile-friendly when you need to check in on the go.

No. Edge Desk does not teach trading, mentor traders, coach sessions, or sell paid courses or education programs. We build software that surfaces market intelligence and helps you review setups and actively manage live trades — not a classroom or a guru service.

No. External Edge Desk is analytics only. There is no broker submit path for subscribers. You decide and execute every trade yourself.

Separately, we are designing and developing an automated trading platform for our own internal use. It is not ready for public use, and we have not announced any timeline for offering automation to subscribers.

Before anything like that could be offered externally, there are material legal, regulatory, and compliance questions to resolve. This is not legal advice, but typical categories include:

• Broker API access, brokerage agreements, and custody rules
• How an offering would be classified (for example, investment advisory, commodity trading advisor, commodity pool operator, or similar) depending on jurisdiction and product structure
• Exchange and market-data licensing for automated use
• Operational compliance, auditability, and liability before any subscriber-facing automation

Today's Edge Desk product remains analytics and decision support. You stay in control of every trade.

Before: ranked intelligence and a clear trade-eligible queue. During: live context and Ask while you manage the trade. After: lifecycle review of what fired, what got blocked, and what aged out.

General-purpose chatbots work from whatever you paste — a chart screenshot, a CSV export, a news clip. They can sound authoritative while filling gaps the image or file never contained.

Edge Desk is built the other way around. A curated tradeable universe plus supporting context symbols (macro, sector, breadth, volatility, and more) flows through automated ingest, transform, enrichment, setup detection, and scoring — desk-grade feeds kept current and structured before you open Ask.

Ask Edge Desk answers against those AI-ready datasets inside a governed semantic model — the same curated warehouse truth the desk runs on — not pixels or ad-hoc files pasted into a general chatbot. You get a trade-eligible queue, freshness you can verify, and plain-English guidance before, during, and after a trade: breadth of governed inputs instead of paste-and-pray.

That is analytics and decision support only: you execute every trade yourself. Edge Desk does not auto-trade for subscribers and does not teach or sell courses.

Edge Desk does not ingest every symbol in the market — and that is intentional.

We focus on a curated set of tradeable futures, equities, and ETFs chosen for liquidity, movement, volume, open interest, and quote quality — spreads you can actually work with, not names that look interesting on a chart but fail in size.

We also ingest supporting context symbols — representative measures of macro, sector, and market tone — so regime sits alongside individual setups, not as a separate homework project. Supporting context includes areas such as:

• Macro risk — US Dollar, interest rates, bonds, and treasury yields
• Sector rotation — tech, financials, energy, and related sector benchmarks
• Credit — high-yield and investment-grade stress proxies
• FX — major currency pairs and cross rates
• Market internals — core breadth (NYSE advance–decline with up/down volume), volume breadth (TRIN.NY), breadth pressure (TICK), equal-weight breadth (SPXEW), percent of stocks above N-day averages, and depth (new highs vs. new lows)
• Volatility — VIX and related implied-volatility measures
• Options positioning — put/call ratio and related sentiment proxies
• Metals — gold, silver, and related benchmarks

Together with transform, enrichment, and scoring on that curated stack, you get desk-grade signal to trade with clarity — not the noise of the whole tape.

Those give charts, alerts, or specialized signals. Edge Desk prioritizes what is trade-eligible now, why it ranked, whether data is fresh, and what to review after the session.

Yes. Scores, gates, and lifecycle language are part of the desk — and Ask can explain them in plain English.

No. Edge Desk is decision-support analytics. We do not provide personalized investment advice, manage assets, or act as your broker or financial advisor. Nothing on the desk is a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument.

Edge Desk is built on Snowflake. For organizations that already run Snowflake, we also offer Edge Desk as a Snowflake Native App on the Snowflake Marketplace — datasets, charts, and insights delivered inside your Snowflake account under your existing Snowflake terms and agreements.

Most individual and retail traders are not Snowflake customers. If that is you, you use Edge Desk as a browser SaaS at edge-desk.ai under a separate subscriber agreement — the same product experience, without needing a Snowflake account.

Both paths run on the same Edge Desk platform; the difference is how you access and contract for it.
